These Donation Terms and Conditions apply to all donations made to SSG Sustainable Living, whether made online through our website, in person, by mail, bank transfer, or any other method. By donating to us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless a refund is required under UK consumer protection laws or agreed at our discretion.

Your donation will be used in line with our mission to further our charitable purposes as described on our website or donation page.

Making a donation does not constitute a contract for goods or services, nor does it entitle the donor to any preferential treatment or material benefit.

2. Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, you may be eligible to add Gift Aid to your donation, allowing us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to you.

To enable Gift Aid, you must complete a valid Gift Aid declaration confirming that you pay sufficient UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the relevant tax year.

It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your tax status, name, or address.

3. Recurring Donations

• By setting up a recurring donation (e.g. monthly), you authorise us to collect payments at the frequency and amount selected.
• You can cancel or amend a recurring donation at any time via your payment provider or by contacting us at ssgmcr17@gmail.com
• Cancellations must be received at least 7 days before the next scheduled payment to take effect.

4. Payment Processing

• Donations are processed securely through Stripe and Dijon Platform which may collect personal and financial information.
• We do not have access to or store full payment card details.
• By donating, you agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We will only use your data for processing your donation, administering Gift Aid (if applicable), and communicating with you if you have opted in to receive updates.

We will not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, except as necessary to process your donation or where required by law.

6. Third-Party Platforms

If you donate through a third-party platform, your donation will be subject to their terms and privacy policies as well. We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party processing.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued in cases of payment error, fraud, or duplicate transactions. Please contact us at ssgmcr17@gmail.com within 7 days of your donation if you believe this applies.

Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment method where possible.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. The updated terms will be posted on our website.

Continued donations after updates are published imply your acceptance of the revised terms.
